I realized I haven't even been in Deviant Art for three years now! A lot has happened since then. Things accomplished, other things destroyed, put on hold or just fading to nothingness. I decided to put some more work up. Some of it is old, some new. Hope people enjoy it. I hope Deviant Art keeps going. So much has changed in the computer/internet world since three years back. I'll try to add more each week until I get most of the digitalized stuff up. I am not doing as much art as I used too. I put up my Zombie and Vampire playing cards on a crowd sourcing site and got nowhere. So I kind of stopped producting much art. Plus my eyes aren't so good these days. But maybe this will stir up some juices. I hope so!

Just a note, busy with so many projects, my new St. Albans Graphics and Editorial Service is doing well. I have edited five books so far in the past year. Pretty good. Have done two book covers for the graphic's division. Lately I've been making little movies and put together a nice one for the Firesign Theater Album: "I Think We're All Bozos on This Bus" which I put up on YouTube. Working on my own projects as well, t-shirt designs, and political campaign spoofs...Donald Trump just ruined my whole Trump-Palin 2012 campaign though! What an egotistical prick! He'd rather tell Meatloaf what to do than run the country like he says he can...he's the biggest conman since P.T. Barnum. Anyway I am trying to put up some of the new stuff this week. Stop by and tell me what you think.

Sometimes I don't feel the Art. Sad. But at my age (56)not having ever achieved any fame or fortune, the work has become something I do out of genuine love to just do it. And when the love is stifled, I don't do the work. or I work on other things, poems, publishing, editing, etc. I do a lot of stuff. So sorry to anyone who watches these pages and wants to know what happened to me. My heart right now is very downtrodden and sad. The world is changing and it is no longer mine to seek through, discover and overcome, to manipulate and to attain deeper connections. It has become a world full of shallow people full of fear and greed. Yes, yes, it sounds morbid. I know. And I won't press it. For now I am back and will upload a few pieces, this will make me happy. The people who like what I do make me happy too. I've met a lot of them recently and they got me back on track. But then the economy and my jobs drew me down again. I quit WalMart for a cush job at a resort property. There I drew a Halloween card and got myself into trouble immediately with two radical Christian women who became harpies and conspired to get me fired. Which they did. Then I was back on unemployment for a couple of months. Then that ran out. Then I found a job with the Great Indoors, and that is turning out to be something I cannot handle, again...so soon I shall be unemployed again. I don't know how much longer I can roll with the punches. But I do try to make art as I go along. And so should you, whomever watches these pages, don't neglect what you truly love.

I'm Baaaaaaack! Well this was a mighty weird few months, working at Wal-Mart selling guns and ammo! Of all things! And me a peacenik! It was a job. A really really awful job! Wal-Mart is all the bad things they say, and MORE! They treat their employees abominably, all my friends there were ex-managers because they treat managers even worse! I did meet one great guy named Jonathan Winters, a black dude who really respected my work and my long history in the art business. He's one of those innovative types that wants to change the world with ART! More power to him! He invited me to the Chuck Jones Show at the Tempe Art Gallery. Everyone there wound up talking to me about my portfolio and experiences. (I met the late Chuck Jones briefly at his gallery in Santa Fe when he opened it years ago...great guy!)It was the first good art experience I'd had in a long, long time!

I have got a couple of contracts now with businesses who wanted to license some of my images. One does wooden postcards and one does ceramic Christmas ornaments. I'll toss up some of my more "traditional" stuff here so people can see I'm not always weird...but the Weird Does Just Keep Coming! So stay tuned! Thanks to everyone who supports DeviantArt, (everyone I talk too who does anything on the Net all know DeviantArt by the way!) and for all your great comments, watchings and favoriting...I now have a decent paying job with good hours so I might be able to calm down long enough to tend to this site a bit more.

Thanks again everyone!!!

Hello, back again after a spell of unemployment. It took me two months to land a job and then my wife got fired. We nearly lost everything. Maybe still will? Who can tell anymore with the American Economy so unstable. People being thrown out of work by big companies. My wife worked for Macy's. they let go of twenty thousand people! And they ruined her life and mine! Thanks. Won't be shopping in that sink hole again! Corporations have become rapacious monstrosities, dinosaurs that are so big that no one can feed them anymore, so they topple over and die. They don't care about their employees or their customers anymore! So don't shop these mega-giants if you can help it. Soon they'll try to own all of us artists too! I hate em! Always have, since 1968! Knew they would finally bring our country to ruin, with their greed and over reaching powers in the political world. They even want to patent human genes! they are devious and malicious, malcontented with having anything reasonable or quality based. they want to stuff a world of plastic gadgets down our throats and kill us with their consumer class wages and no-benefits packages. They've taken now to hiring only part time minimum wage workers! the middle class is dying. I should know I was middle class for a whole year or two before the "Meltdown." Arghhh! I hate this life! Sorry! But Artist MUST speak out! We are the only ones left unafraid to use our voices!

Wow, it's been awhile. I had a MAJOR malware crash that forced me to have to reformat my entire harddrive and start my whole computer programs and everything from scratch! It took weeks! But I am back now. Still unemployed but I do have several things I am working on. St. Albans Art Studio, still going strong...put it up on Craig's List and am getting some minor work through it. Also doing St. Albans Editorial Services for all the writers out there needing professional critiques and editing. And St. Albans Computer Services; helping people learn the basics of their computers and fixing them as I can. As I learned a lot during my computer meltdown. Big Warning!!! If you see something flash on your screen that says it is a warning about a virus, immediately hit Alt F4 key! If that doesn't work, shut your machine off! It's what got me. I will write more later and direct you to my "Is Your AntiVirus Program Enough?" Hubpage!

Thanks to all of you who might still be hanging in their as my friends. I will get back to you shortly.

Hello my friends...It's after the holidays, and I am now out of work. The company I worked for let me off due to poor sales. That company is Dillard's dept. store and they SUUUUUUCK! At any rate I am trying to hang in there. One great thing is that every time I go onto Deviant Art someone has chosen another picture of mine for their favorites or committed to being a Watcher! Wow! I feel truly blessed and cannot thank all of you enough. I was also asked to join the Sea Pirates group! Which is a lot of fun, as I love pirates! As you will see as you watch my gallery! So Yo Ho Yo Ho it's the pirate's life for me, and very bad eggs...

Watch for more and more and more stuff! I found a bunch of things in my older portfolios I want to share here. And I am always finding deviant art I love and am adding to my favorites too! If anyone knows of a good, high quality New York art agent who wants or needs a client who can DO ANYTHING and this includes book illustration, graphics on computer, greeting cards, etc. etc. get them in touch with me! I do have an agent right now with Joan Cawley Gallery here in Scottsdale. But I need someone really in the know for my game, card and book ideas!
Thanks to all of you watchin' out for me!

Well I was surprised today to look in on my little gallery and find a lot of comments from watchers, followers fans and others! I had no idea anyone was seeing this stuff at all. So this is good news for me! I'll put up more of my works soon. Many of the pieces I just put up were old, old things from my days illustrating H.P. Lovecraft magazines and poems. Yet people seem to like these images now, some thirty years later. I'm now impressed with Deviant Art. I met a young guy at Dillard's who works in the Men's dept. When I said I had stuff up on Deviant Art he was like "Deviant Art!? COOL!" So Deviant Art has a Rep.

Just a note to say hello to other deviants in the world of art who are viewing my gallery! You can always reach me by writing to whisperindave@gmail.com. I have been doing art for a long time. Just found some old interesting stuff that I decided to put up here. Been a long day. Got fired from Dillard's Inc. today. Those people that run Dillard's are total messed up idiots! Three years I worked there. A stupid clerk, trying to earn a living. They lose customers because of the economy and wham, I'm out of a job. Well I got better things to do. Like look at deviant art all day and produce it too!
